Hello All,

Just a quick wrap-up from weekend events.  The Canadian Ski Cross Team went into today’s race at Kreischberg Austria with high hopes but things would not fall their way.  Brady Leman finished 5th after qualifying 3rd.  Marielle Thompson finished 8th and Georgia Simmerling was further back in the pack at 26th after qualifying 3rd and 1st respectively.  Today’s race was tight and marred with injuries. Reports back from the coaching staff indicate that the skis were fast but luck was not on our side.

Closer to home Hannah Schmidt came in 4th at MSA GS.  Hannah has had a consistent past few days with a 1st place and 4th today and yesterday.

Lastly, the U16 and FIS racers will be heading to Lake Placid early in the week for a SG camp and races.  Early weather reports show cold temperatures with high humidity, so I’m suggesting Vibe Green or Diamond Blue.  A shot of Javelin Juice spray maybe a good idea if you are there to take a run at it!

Blog soon,

Mike
