Description

JAVELIN EDGE is new innovation for snow sports. Obtain a sharper edge with this sharpening tool lubricant. Apply the lubricant to your fine tooth file and your diamond stones to achieve a finer, sharper edge on your ski or snowboard. Be sure to clean Javelin Edge off of your edges once the sharpening process is complete. You can clean away Javelin Edge from your edges with Javelin Strip. Of course sharpening must be performed prior to applying a coating to your base, since the Javelin Strip will remove any previously applied coating.

Use Javelin Edge not only on your sharpening file and diamond stones, use it also to clean the metal debris from your tools.

FAQs
Q:
What's the difference between Javelin Vibe and Javelin Diamond?

— Asked on February 15, 2015
A: Javelin Vibe and Diamond each have excellent glide characteristics. Either are applicable for park, pipe, slope-style, skier-cross or alpine race for ski or snowboard. We recommend Javelin Vibe for fresh snow conditions. Javelin Diamond for "dirty" or contaminated snow. Snow can become dirty or contaminated by diesel fumes from snow grooming equipment, contaminants injected by snow guns, the application of salt, fertilizer or other compounds to harder snow.

Q:
What is "Javelin Juice" when and why should I use it?

— Asked on February 23, 2015
A: As a ski passes over snow, it creates a thin layer of water which allows the ski to glide more easily. Javelin Juice allows the ski to perform under a wider range of water content within the snow. During rapidly changing temperature conditions, Juice can be easily applied over your existing coating.

Q:
What is Javelin Black Ice?

— Asked on February 23, 2015
A: Javelin Black Ice is a coating specifically to be used under cold/dry conditions. In cold/dry conditions, not enough water is available within the crystal structure of the snow to allow good glide. Black Ice reduces friction in this environment and allows the ski to glide more freely.
